Ivory paper check, measuring approx. 8 inches by 3 inches, under the authority of Lewisville State Bank and with a date line for the 1920s. Check has been folded once.

THE HISTORY

Lewisville State Bank was opened in 1910 on the southwest corner of Main and Charles by James Degan. It relocated in 1955 to the northeast corner of Main and Charles. and later was acquired by Commercial Bank of Texas.
