1940 – LHS Senior Cards In a Cardboard Box Examples

THE ITEM

Ivory-colored cardboard box, measuring approx. 3.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1.5 inches tall, containing senior cards from LHS class of 1940. Surnames in the box include Goldsmith, Huffines, Wolters, Berndt, Sherrill, and Dixon.

THE HISTORY

The box is believed to have belonged to Gary Lee Goldsmith, the son of former LHS athletic director Max Goldsmith.
