White staple-bound booklet, measuring approx. 5.5 inches by 8 inches, with a small fold on the bottom-right corner. Cover identifies it as “Proposed Home Rule Charter for the City of Lewisville Texas” and says the charter will be submitted to a public vote on January 29, 1963.
THE HISTORY
This draft City Charter was mailed to all residents prior to the 1963 election to adopt the charter and install Home Rule.
