1969 Album – Led Zeppelin Test Pressing from Pop Festival

THE ITEM

Two vinyl DLPs in white paper sleeves. The back of both sleeves is printed with plangauge explaining that these are test pressings prior to potential production of a commercial album. These albums contain live recordings of Led Zeppelin performing at the Texas International Pop Festival in Lewisville in 1969. No commercial recording of these albums was released.

THE HISTORY

Recorded during the Texas International Pop Festival, the final stop in Led Zeppelin’s third U.S. tour. This is a test pressing of the band’s live performance during the second day of the festival. Cuts include (Side A) Train Kept A-Rollin’, I Can’t Quit You Baby, (Side B) Dazed and Confused, (Side C) You Shook Me, How Many More Times medley, (Side D) Bye Bye Baby, Communication Breakdown.
