Giving is Golden

Centennial Celebration engages nonprofits, donors with “Giving is Golden”

The City of Lewisville continues its initiative Giving is Golden as a way for residents to
support their neighbors, and engage with local nonprofits in need, as part of its
Centennial Celebration in 2025.

“Giving is Golden” will include four collection drives throughout the year
supporting local nonprofits that provide valuable support services to area residents.
Each drive will encourage donations of specific item types that are most needed by one
or more agencies. The goal of the program is to gather 2,025 units of that item during
each collection window.

Current collection continues through September 30:

Items being collected:

  • new or gently used children’s books
  • diapers
  • baby wipes

Benefiting:
Benefitting Book Drive for Kids, PediPlace, and Health Services of North Texas (HSNT)

We’re collecting new or gently used children’s books, along with diapers and baby wipes, to support families in need. Your donations will help promote early childhood development and provide essential care items for little ones. Every book, diaper, and wipe makes a difference. Thank you for helping us spread love and support in our community!
